LG OLED suddenly not tolerating .mkv files?

The onboard Plex apps for smart TVs (I only have experience with LG) are hot garbage unless I am streaming over the same WiFi network, and even then it's a bit of a crapshoot. Honestly the ones for Android devices are horrible too. TVs are not very powerful standalone image processors, so if the app

Welcome to a capitalism where YOU pay for THEM promoting to YOU

My LG C3 Oled shows randomly a popup over my subtitles when watching via hdmi: "You have watched 3 hours less tv previous week" like literally over my subtitles for at least 20 seconds and no dismiss button. Back or home button just closes the hdmi connection but the popup remains. I was at the poin

I have a 100 inch u75qg and a77 inch lg c3 and honestly I like the picture more on my Hisense. I have zero issue with gaming daily on it Xbox or ps5.

AVForums just reviewed the new LG G6 OLED -- those scores are pretty wild.

I allready written that there is considerable...considerable lower grain on Samsung S90F and even more lower on Samsung S90C. All 3 TV's were 65 inches. On Samsung's TV's pushing Noise reduction really do the trick, but even with that disable both Samsungs that I tested had a smaller amount of it th

If you were buying a 65 inch TV and the priority was motion handling for sport, which would you choose?

My C3 has way worse motion jitter than my old B6 did. Maybe LG has improved it quite a bit the last 3 years, but if sports were my main concern, I would definitely not be considering OLED.

Does the app suck?

Works fine on an Apple TV 4th Gen app but does not work well on the LG OLED C3 app.
