Why does everyone on here say to avoid s90/95f yet rtings has them as top recommendations?

Because the group just has brand preferences, It's kind of annoying, because someone can ask a question about two TVs, and the group will ask follow up questions like is the room bright, how far away are you sitting, what's the price difference, what are you using it for, and things of that nature.

LG announces new OLED TVs at CES — brighter G6, the C6 splits in two, ultra-thin Wallpaper OLED, and the world's first 4K 120Hz cloud gaming TVs

"The LG C6H is only available in 77-inch and 83-inch models, and the crucial difference here is that it uses a Primary RGB Tandem panel – the same kind of panel used in the LG G5, which was LG's flagship from last year. This means it should be majorly brighter than the LG C5 was in those sizes – LG

LG unveils 2026 OLED TVs: Both G6 and C6 get upgraded Tandem panels

Well I much rather have different names than have all named LG C6 and you just have to know which size has which panel. Or do they just call everything C6 but model number is the one that tells if its C6H or normal C6?

Are LG reusing model numbers now? G6/C6 came out 2016 already. Not issue when buying new but can be annoying for second hand market.

Two Sony TVs have died on me.

Sometimes, you just get insanely unlucky when it comes to brands. My first LG OLED was the C6 OLED which looked amazing and I got it because I wanted 3D. However, right at the 10th month in I noticed that one half of the panel was slightly darker than the other half. It wasn't really noticeable, but

Mini LED or OLED monitor?

Because they’re perfect until they’re not. And once burn in starts, it rapidly happens all over the screen. My first OLED was an LG C7. And what are we on now? C6. You’ve got a few more years and few more panels to go before you’ve finally had enough.

First oled

I have had many OLEDs since 2016, the LG C6 and E8, and the Sony A8G, A95K and A95L. All of which were beautiful and I gamed very heavily on most of them. I have yet to get burn-in on any of them. I personally would go with the Bravia 8 II because Sony’s picture processing and motion handling is som

Anyone else tempted to get a Portal before the price hike?

Lol I'm on a 48" LG C1 and think it's time to go to 55 C5 or C6. Small apartment but I have flicker issues so I have to set the video setting to -2.

S90H AI Soccer Mode Pro

Super sad they got rid of the QD this year, a downgrade from the S90F for more money. Likely going with the LG C6 then as it at least has Dolby Vision. Is there a headsup comparison of these two yet?

LG G6 rtings score

Shocking. This bit even more so " it actually looks dimmer than 2025's LG G5 OLED with most content. This is unusual, and even the LG C6 OLED is a bit brighter in most real scenes. "
