I’d recommend the LG UltraGear 27GX704A. QD-OLED has better color saturation than WOLED, but it tends to have lower perceived brightness in full-screen scenes. Also, one of QD-OLED’s biggest downsides is that even a small amount of ambient light hitting the screen can cause its perfect OLED blacks t

All these Reddit nerds in the comments are making my head spin. There is absolutely nothing wrong with getting your partner a new monitor. I’ve been looking at getting my hands on one myself, and after looking at many options - you can’t go wrong with the LG 27GX704A-B. It’s an OLED, which will make

I have used the LG 27gx704A-B for a couple of days now, and I can’t recommend it enough. You didn’t say what resolution you were looking for, but this is 1440p @240hz. It’s a glossy Woled. Colors are amazing and blacks are black. My room is pretty bright and I still don’t really get reflections on m

The LG 27GX704A-B is glossy, but not as nice as the TrueBlack glossy on the XG27AQWMG. Could also spring for the slightly cheaper 27GX700A-B which uses the same panel as the XG27AQWMG but is a semi-matte. Since the Tandem WOLED panels have been out for a bit, from my perspective it seems like it was

That 15h game I've already put 38 hours into on PC and 12 on Xbox. Some of us only buy 1 game and play the crap out of it for a couple of months. Other people stare at WoW for 16 hours a day, I don't judge lol. I'm not saying it's the best fix - but it puts you back on par with console HDR. I agree

You can tell me it's inaccurate and goes against the grain, but I made a 32GX850A-B and a 27GX704A-B look as vibrant as an LG OLED TV while using Windows. After following all of the above... Make sure HDR is toggled on in Windows and set your profile in the OSD to Gamer 1 and Brightness to high. In

Yeah I'm Canadian, I got mine at $699 but I just saw it's on sale for even less at $599 (in both cases new RE included). Unfortunately, I'm planning on returning mine in favor of the 27GX704a-b because it was the same price as the new sale ($599), does not have matte graininess (I would've been happ

The LG 27GX704A-B is a solid 27-inch 1440p choice with good color accuracy. I've heard some users mention the TrueBlack 400 can look a bit washed out in darker scenes compared to higher contrast options. If you're open to alternatives, the ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQ offers similar specs with slightly be

LG 27GX704A-B is a 27" OLED with 240hz for just under $500. The glossy coating really makes colors pop.
