Not sure how large your child's room is but the Levoit Vital 200s could be a good buy. The Levoit Core mini is for tiny spaces.

Is levoit core mini good enough for 130 sq. Ft. Room with 300-400+ AQI?
Definitely not. The Levoit Core Mini has very low Clean Air Delivery Rates (CADRs) to start even for normal pollution scenarios. If you have a sturdy piece of furniture (like a dresser, chest of drawers, nightstand, table, desk), you can place a purifier there. I would probably select a model with 2
