As I type my ThinkPad X9 15 is getting replaced due to the same issue. Hope the replaced one doesn't come with the same problem 🤦

The X9 - 15 is awesome
It would be nice if Lenovo even provided BIOS firmware options with different fan profiles. Such a shame because the machine would be perfect if the damn thing just ran quieter. I understand the X9 14 being noisy due to size limitations, but thought for sure the X9 15 would be large enough to proper

Clicking hinge noise... new thinkpad
As I type my ThinkPad X9 15 is getting returned due to this hinge noise. Get it replaced. These things shouldn't happen with such a premium product.

Hahah good review. As I type this reply my new ThinkPad X9 15 is being returned and I'm getting a refund for it. There was a clicking noise in the hinge. I'm now thinking of gng for an Asus but looking at some of the S14 Oled bad review I'm a bit skeptical. The lightness of the Asus is drawing me. A
