Still miss mine. One can only hope X13 gen 7 will have a 3:2 screen.

As a student, you might as well come back to MacBook - brand-new Neo is 850 CAD with education discount, or you should be able to find older M chip Air models under 1000 CAD second hand. You get Microsoft Office IIRC, good battery life, good bright screen (some ThinkPads model configs still somewhat

Tl;dr: I'd personally prioritise gen3 AMD (R7 Pro 6850u+ at least 16GB) over other gen(2) models or gen3 Intel. R7 Pro 6850u has massively better iGPU (about +80-100%: so for light gaming, gen3 should be much better) and a bit better watt efficiency (battery life), but the performance jump from its

Oh wow that's a gorgeous one congratulations. I've got the X13 2-in-1 gen 5 which is all black, but this one with the oled must be a pleasure to use!

I didn't realize how small the X13 was. There's no speaker housing beside the keyboard and removing the Trackpoint buttons saved space on the touchpad too. Lenovo should think of making an X14 or reducing the size of the T14s. The screen's side bezels are fine but it could lose 2 cm off the bottom b

you can find my post on the comparing thinkpads and their battery life and why I'm keeping the x280. suggestions: use throttlestop and see how low you can undervolt your CPU which can sensibly increase battery life. Pesonal: I hate hte huge frame so I replaced the 12.5" 16:9 with a great 13" 16:10 2

Sooo. I got them all quite cheap. P1 Gen 1 for 100,-, X1 Yoga Gen 5 for 150, X1 Yoga Gen 6 for 200,- and the 2 X13 Gen 3 Yogas for 350,- each (Euros).. The X1 Gen 6 is an upgrade to the Gen 5 (16:10 is more comfortable). Bought them for wifey. I am using the X13s. I bought 2 because the 2nd one was

My recommendation would be X13 gen 2. It has the more modern 16:10 display, great for reading and research. T14 gen 1 still has the 16:9 one. Also since your use cases include media consumption, consider the fact that the worst display on X13 gen 2 is still rated with 100% sRGB (about 72% NTSC), whi

I had a stock size 1080p screen in it for a while, before the 30-pin 16:10 panels became a reasonable option. It was nice, but I'm really enjoying the extra height. The one on the right is an i5-3320m with the 12.5" 1080p panel, left is just a stock TN panel. The 13.3" is using an X13 Gen 2 panel. T

what helped me before was testing everything in the current os first. check every key including fn combos, touchscreen response in different spots, all usb ports with a mouse or drive, headphone jack, and webcam. run a battery report too. also look at the bios for any supervisor password or computra
