What was the moment Linux finally clicked for you?
When Windows 11 started to make my X1 yoga gen 5 with top specs hot and loud, and laggy. Switched go Fedora, now it works like a dream again.

How are you guys running / buying any laptop >7 years old?
I've got a pretty wide gamut of machines at hand and tbh my T480 sorta shows age while mucking around tbf it's more my impatience than anything. My go to currently is either a T14Gen3 with a 6650u or the X1 Yoga Gen 5 with whatever Intel it's got and really have zero complaints performance wise. Ofc

Where to buy a used thinkpad for cheaper, online?
I've been finding some killer deals on offerup. I had to hunt a bit but I found an X1 Yoga Gen 5 with an i7 and 16gb RAM for $150. Its not the most powerful laptop but I really wanted the pen and touchscreen for some blender sculpting. Facebook marketplace is ok too.
