Setelah 5 tahun, dijual sekaligus ratusan. Harga setelah penyusutan sudah "Rp 0". Dijual berapa pun, kantor tetep "untung" dan masuk ke "other income". Jadi dijual murah, dengan kondisi

Thinkpad T14S Gen 5 - Why aren't there a lot of reviews for this version?

https://www.notebookcheck.net/Lenovo-ThinkPad-T14s-Gen-5-laptop-review-The-premium-T-ThinkPad-with-Intel-Core-Ultra.866472.0.html 165H should be better, but less battery life (comparable to Zen 3 IIRC?). Not sure how it cools the 165H. T14s positioning is horrible in recent gens, especially Intel, a

What laptop to get for remote working lawyer?

I use a thinkpad x1 carbon with a touchscreen I bought at microcenter. I’m a former computer engineer turned patent litigator and I lean on it about as much as you could imagine. The GPU can run several 4K panels if I want. Chassis is also solid and the output ports are unlikely to flake out by the

Apple Macbook Pro M1 switch to something like it in design and functionality

There's nothing quite like Apple computers out there but there are competing ones where you get different trade-offs. Look into Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon for lightweight high-end laptop or ThinkPad T14 for something repairable. Both of these work with Linux and Windows and are amazing devices.

Why do people generally buy Carbon X1 when they are so ridiculously expensive?

I bought my X1 Carbon Gen 10 in 2023 not because it's the fastest. I travel a lot usually backpacking for months at a time and weight is a very important consideration. It's also sturdy and well built. Good battery life on Linux. At the time my top contenders were X1 or Dell XPS 13. Having Linux ins

What kind of laptop y'all using?

If I were at home most of the time, I’d get a cheaper laptop and a nicer desktop. Why pay for the portability and worse specs if you can afford to be attached to the wall? For on the go, I know tons of reporters do just fine with whatever cheapie laptop Walmart or Amazon has on sale at the time. Tha

Laptop for Computer Science

Grab a Lenovo with an i7 11th gen or higher with 16gb DDR4 ram and 1tb M.2 Storage. Models like the L14 are great and upgrading is easy. Or you can look into a the X1 Carbon Series. Amazing lightweight but powerful machines. (Only issue you can only upgrade it’s M.2 on most models)

Laptop suitable for online study

I've always likes the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon. I have one, 8th Gen, and I bought my daughter one 6th Gen. Both second hand (from trademe), and both a lot less than $500. Make sure you get 16G Ram for future versions of Windows. They are light (magnesium chassis), good battery life etc. Edit: just

Why do people generally buy Carbon X1 when they are so ridiculously expensive?

It’s premium, very lightweight, has more ports than competing laptops from other brands, and the fact that it goes on discount very often. I bought my x1 carbon gen 10 brand new at a massive discount from Lenovo and it’s the best laptop I’ve ever owned

Laptop requirements

Almost any intel laptop made in the last 10 years will be fine. There are good reasons in robotics to have a very good gaming laptop for things like machine vision, ML, etc. Also, having a machine which can run CUDA code is very nice. That said, I suspect you will rarely need this, most of the time
