T14 Gen 5 (Intel) 32 or 64 GB RAM?

I have pretty same: t14g5 i 165u 64gb, I barely got 20 gb ram usage during sbt compilation. Go for 32. If 64 will be needed, you can upgrade later. Moreover RAM in t14g5 isn't speedy if coming from Lenovo. If 64gb is needed, buy as small stock ram from Lenovo and upgrade ypurself to 64gb of low late

I bought a T480. Any advice on what I should do before using it?

It's one of the best units that soldered ram haters like me could get until the T14 Gen 5 starts getting dumped by companies and approach T480 cheap status, though the T14G5 has a soldered wifi card. What is the best thinkpad for daily use?

Luckily the T14G5 has dual SO-DIMM slots, so if you go with that you should be fine. As for Snapdragon... that entirely depends if your

First thinkpad, is this good?

T14G5 is quite similar to P14sG5 in configuration, but P-series would consume more energy than T-series. You may consider T14pG5 (Chinese version), it would have more slots for upgrades.
