EU requires USB-C charging for all new laptops up to 100 W...
I have a Lenovo p16v with the rectangle jack AND usb-c and it ONLY wants to charge via the proprietary jack. WHY ?! Other models accept both...

Disadvantages of P16v i Gen 2
Temperatures are largely irrelevant on modern hardware, literally everything is designed to boost as long as possible while staying at the maximum 100°C thermal limit as this allows for better overall performance. Believe it or not even desktop CPUs do this now. Either way, according to this review
