While not "bad", the base display on the P1 is adequate but otherwise nothing outstanding. The ideapad and inspiron are consumer grade systems and should not be considered. The E series is a budget grade business (E for economy), while not a bad system, there are better built systems, so if you're getting this one for a great price, go for it, but I would see what it would take to step in

The P series is highly variable; the P14s/P16s is basically just a T14/T16, with a bigger processor option - a couple of generations back this was the T4xxp and later there was a T14p although I'm not sure it was sold in the US. Virutally all of the options are the same, and yes, it's clearly the sa
