I just got my Lenovo thinkpad P16s gen 3 with Ubuntu included from the factory. no hassle and I was up and running the second I turned it on (and backed it up immediately with clonezilla, then timeshift lol). as long as you have the drivers for things like the video card, thumbprint reader and wifi

Best laptop for an Aerospace Engineering major? ($1200-1600$ budget)
For aerospace engineering specifically, the big consideration is SolidWorks and ANSYS both need a dedicated GPU and benefit from higher RAM.
