Computer Recommendations

I just bought this Lenovo. I do some pretty heavy processing and this is going to be more than sufficient. Arrives tomorrow and I'm stoked! On sale for under $2k right now. Laptop for AutoCAD

Small repair shop here. What I recommend is this one https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/laptops/thinkpad/thinkpadp/lenovo-thinkpad-p16s-gen-3-16-inch-intel-mobile-workstation/21ks001lus I use to work with a company that had a few autocad users for building design and other projects. Laptop recommendations for 2025

Specs: RAM: look for 16GB if it takes DIMM memory which can be upgraded, or if your ownership timeline is only a couple of years. If you plan to keep the machine a long time, make sure that IF the memory is soldered, you get 32GB (more than you need now, but likely to be much more important in anoth

is worth buying a laptop with intel Ultra 7-258V?

And I love my Lenovo, superb product, nice power and nice battery life(I have the 155h processor and get about 8-10 hours

It has all the specs I need like a dedicated GPU, i7 Intel core processor, and 32GB of RAM. Plus a year'

Buying a laptop

The games that you are playing definitely need a GPU to run smoothly. So you need a high-end laptop (either business or workstation). I would go with your cousin’s suggestion if you didn’t play medium games. However, since you need a more powerful laptop, you have to look a bit further. The used/ref

Best laptop for an Aerospace Engineering major? ($1200-1600$ budget)

For aerospace engineering specifically, the big consideration is SolidWorks and ANSYS both need a dedicated GPU and benefit from higher RAM. A few suggestions in your range: Lenovo ThinkPad P16s Gen 3 (~$1300) - workstation class, great keyboard for long coding sessions, ISV certified for SolidWorks
