I hear you. I’ve a similar experience: recently I switched to a p14s gen5 amd and my previous laptop was a t470s. I miss a lot the old keyboard, the magnesium body, the build quality and the lightness. Performance wise it’s a huge jump (I really don’t feel the need of having a desktop pc anymore) bu

ACTUALLY NO SUCH THING EXISTS. But if we must pick from what we have, I would say you should get it this order. HP Studio G11: better quality control than Lenovo and share some advantages from P1G6 and P1G7. If ThinkPad only, then it would be ThinkPad P16vG2/3. Cuz it is a lite version of P16. Bette

The Lenovo Thinkpad P14S Gen 5 is currently on sale on Lenovo's website for £700 with 32GB of RAM. The radeon 780M integrated graphics will wrok well enough for the light CAD work, and it's got excellent built quality with a bright and accurate IPS screen. Un ThinkPad P14s Gen5/6 se trouve dans ces tarifs là en promo. Et côté qualité, rien à voir avec Asus et les entrées de gamme.

I'm a private individual. I recently placed three orders from Lenovo: my first time buying from them. Very fast, yes. Inside each box was a summary of the contents. But I have to say one thing: the package was shameful. The internal packaging was completely insufficient and useless. And I have to ap

Thinkpad P14s gen5 intel:+ powerful+ upgradability+ good cooling (2 fans)+ metal body (good for cooling)- high power consumption = bigger and heavier battery- heavy charger (more than 100W)- i read that fan spinning is noticable (which is expected I wold say)So powerful workstation with all pros and

Unless you're planning to leverage the GPU for AI/ML, all you're doing is wasting power and generating heat for a laptop with Nvidia graphics. Better off looking at a high-performance Ryzen platform with plenty of memory. I snagged a "refurb" ThinkPad P14s Gen5 with a Ryzen 8840HS and 64GB of DDR5 a

That's an awesome specs! For me, my P14s runs nice and cool. The aluminum chassis feels premium in hand, very sturdy. The screen is actually 14.5 inches so I got a tiny bit more screen real estate :)) I tested out the P14s Gen 5 AMD in the store and the chassis, although plastic, is very solid and s
