I bought it before ram prices hiked in July 2025. it was latest i714700HX + 4060 140W MSI for 1.39 lakh, I found MSI better than lenovo loq 4060 which was 1.27 lakh ig but it also had 13gen processor so I skipped it.

Lenovo LoQ battery is not good, it offers high specs at a low price

I recently bought an Lenovo LOQ for development work. Pros: provides high specs at a low price tag Cons: Battery is not good, can’t even run for two hours from Battery.Has a cheap feeling due to the low cost materials used Since u are a student I do not recommend this one due to the battery.

Storage is a big one for me cuz I hoard files... The 1TB is a minimum for me I swear </3 But I found a legion 5 with pretty much same specs as the loq, same price but better screen and 16gb ram... Which I assume I can upgrade since it has one slot left? I didn't consider the build quality when I tho

I read about people having issues about their motherboard in 9th gen Lenovo loqs and that makes me stick to the asus side more. I also did some research and 75 Watt 5060 underperforms 100 Watt 5050 in some cases so i will probably buy the TUF F16 with 5050 or search more about Loqs.
