if it works for you, thats great I ended up switching to a FW16 because my legion pro 7i had it's motherboard fail 18 months in from a routine shutdown. given that lenovo is a company known for its product durability and reliability, that's pretty brutal QA

I have a Lenovo Legion 7i Pro 64gb/6tb w/ 5090 24gb and an M5 Max 64gb/2tb. The Lenovo is about 2x the speed on the same models, but it's easier to do everything all at once on the Mac. On the Mac, I can run my app w/ a ~30b chat model, 300m embedding model, 2-3x VS Code, 2-3 coder/reviewer pairs in

I've had an amazing experience with Nvidia. In fact I'm getting more frames on most games in bazzite's custom performance mode on my Lenovo legion pro 7i 10th gen than in Windows

The Blade 18 sounds like a great fit for your needs. If you're running multiple Adobe Creative Cloud apps, recording your drawing process, and gaming, you'll definitely benefit from the extra performance. The only things I'd consider are the weight, battery life, and price. If you don't mind carryin

I haven’t look much into the thicker laptops since portability has been one of the main reason I want a laptop these days. But if it was my money I think the Asus Strix G16 and Lenovo Legion Pro 7i would the top of my list. Both have very modular designs so you can upgrade ram and ssd in them if you

I'd be happy if I could just get the damn sound to work properly. I've got a Lenovo Legion Pro 7i with RTX 4080 and there's just no sound from the speakers or headphone jack. I've reinstalled it a couple of times using different selections with little to no success. I'd love to get away from Windows

If you have a Linux desktop, you don't really need another Linux machine, no? I have a Linux desktop with multiple GPUs and a MacBook. The MacBook gives me insane battery life and great overall build quality. If I need anything that is Linux-specific, I simply SSH into the desktop. MacBooks get supe

I use Lenovo Legion Pro 7i laptop with the mobile 4090 and it works great for PCVR with Quest3 via Steamlink or wired - both native VR games from Steam as well as UEVR-injected Unreal engine games.
