That's what I use-- the Lenovo ideaTab pro 12.7 is very readable, but it can get a little heavy to hold sometimes. You have to de-crap-ify some of the Lenovo software but otherwise it's a solid choice and a good value at around $400 USD-- hopefully about 300 pounds in the UK for the OP.

Lenovo has its own version DEX. In the US, the12.7" Idea Tab Pro has better features and performance than the more expensive Samsung S10 FE. However, the Samsung gets longeer Android upates and support.
