Is an M6 worth the money?

I currently have a Q3/43, M10M, DLux-8, iiia, and just bought an M6 reissue. And I can honestly say that none of them are worth what I paid if I just want a camera to simply take pictures. That said, the feelings I get from using these cameras - especially the M6, is worth every cent. When I use the

Leica Q vs M11

The Q343 produces the sharpest images I’ve ever seen. The APO lens is just crazy good. To get that level of IQ, you’ll need to use APO 35 / 50mm M glass or any of the APO SL lenses. You get an extra stop on the Q3, but it wont be as razor sharp as the 43, but sharper than 95% of the cameras out ther

Q3 43, Q3 Monochrome, Q3 - which one

Fast good 50's are cheap. Fast wide Leica lenses are not. Embrace cropmaxxing. Shoot em wide, I vote for the Q3 28.

The problem IS the price. (rant)

I cancelled my pre-order because the more I thought about it the less I wanted the 4. Personally I think i'm just going to stick to the 3 because it's good enough for me and I just wanted something wider then my Q3 43 to carry around. That being said, it might be unpopular opinion but I think the pr

Switching from Nikon to Leica: M11 or Q3 (or both)? Looking for advice.

Although I can’t comment on moving from DSLR to the M or Q system, I can comment on having the M and Q duo. My take on the Q is it’s essentially a 28mm summilux, or APO, with a free camera body. The prices are vastly similar for lens alone versus Q3. If you’re in the market for similar lenses, I thi

Q3 or Q2

yes, that's true.... new processor is an improvement.... but still, for my personal use case, the 3k for a Q2 vs the 5k+ for the Q3.... I am happy with the Q2. Once I use the Q2 to point of replacement, I would consider the Q3/43.... or perhaps by then a Q4! The Leica AF is slower than a Sony etc...

Went to Leica Store for a (third) 35mm (Summilux) .. left with a Q43

Found my black-and-white endgame (and no, I didn’t pay cash) Just picked up a Q3 Monochrom. Taking a break from color and chasing that B&W zen. Honestly? I love it. And before anyone comes at me about the price—I didn’t spend a single penny. Traded in three obsolete digital M bodies (M9, M240, M246)

What does Leica Q3 do differently that I wouldn’t find on my Fujifilm xh2?

My opinion is that you seem like you’re here to stir shit up, not start a discussion. Shooting with a Fuji is just as much a fashion statement as a Leica these days, since there are plenty of “better” cameras at similar price points that just aren’t trendy. That said, as someone who went from Fuji g

Why does Panasonic pump out premium m43 cameras but make the S9 so cheap and plastic?

When comparable premium compacts are just the following: Sony RX100 ($1500 - 1" sensor with slower but wider zoom range) Canon G7X III (1620 - 1" sensor with same aperture and slightly longer zoom) Fuji X100VI (fixed 35mm equivalent APS-C $1800) Sony RX1R III (5000 dollars fixed 35mm ff) Leica Q3 (7

What are you thoughts about the Leica Q3 43 ? I have one but I’m interested in your thoughts

Love mine, but 43mm works better for me than 28mm (and crop lines). Have an M246, as well as a shit load of Sony, Nikon and Fuji gear; inc medium format. I view and use the 43 as a specialist tool, usually using it alongside something else. I love that lens (you are buying lens with an OK camera att
