80's Makeup
Ever since and to this day I use: L’Oreal Voluminous mascara and CG Cheekers blush. I’ve tried all the expensive ones and still go back to them after all these years!

What "holy grail" drugstore products have you never stopped repurchasing?
L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara. In my young adult life I tried many brands of varying prices (never wildly expensive but plenty not cheap) and never found one I liked as much. Eventually I realized it was a win to find something so good that's so affordable and I gave up the search. 15+ years and it has

Mascara
I'm the opposite. I like a thickening mascara vs. a lengthening one. L'Oreal Voluminous is my go-to. I don't use a lot of mascara, and I don't bother with it on my lower lashes. I blot quite a bit off the brush before applying--that helps to avoid clumping. (And I refuse to buy expensive mascara, si

Mascara
I've been using L'Oreal Voluminous mascara for years and I swear by it. Less than 10 bucks at CVS.

Mascara always burns my eyes after a while?
I stopped using mascara all together. I have tried high end to drugstore. I was down to 2 mascaras. The L'Oreal voluminous carbon black mascara & the Essence Lash Princess. Both started burning my eyes. I bought 2 new ones. One of each. Those 2 burned my eyes. I refuse to buy anymore. I'm not wastin

Another angle of my Vi Cosplay from Halloween!
always prime your eyes, use good quality liner, including both liquid for the wing and a proper waterline pencil for around the eye. Smudge out your waterline a bit with a brush, before putting on your lower mascara. For a non-expensive mascara I recommend L'Oreal Voluminous (non-sponsored lmao it j

Mascara recs?
Diorshow is legit amazing but honestly the L'Oreal Voluminous is such a classic for a reason - hard to beat that formula for the price. If you're gonna splurge maybe go for something fun like a colored mascara or better brushes instead

Help me get started with make up
Tinted moisturizer with SPF will work for a light foundation and protect your skin. I've used Bare Minerals complexion correction and am currently loving Laura Geller's Balance-n-Brighten powder as it doesn't tend to crease in wrinkled skin. A couple cream eyeshadow sticks in nude/neutral colors tha

When should I/shouldn't I cheap out?
Drugstore mascara is great, but the prices are getting close to high-end prices. I continually repurchase L'Oreal Voluminous, and I work at Sephora! But with the VIB sale coming up, you can get a Sephora Collection mascara (I recommend Size Up) for less than a L'Oreal one if you're a member - and it
