Speakers for low level listening
For affordable bookshelves, and in my personal experience over the years with multiple sizes and brands of speakers(Elac, Wharfedale, CSS), the Klipsch RP600M have given me the best low level listening experience with exceptional detail and bass. Paired with a Yamaha A-S801, I can exploit the loudne

First Turntable setup - ~$1000 Budget - Advice needed
Ah, my favorite price point! :) Fluance RT82 - $299 (good choice!) Yamaha A-S301 - $349 (better built-in preamp than most amps, and a great integrated amp to boot) KEF Q150 - $299 (much, MUCH better than the Klipsch R-60M, and digs as deep despite the smaller driver. If you must have Klipsch, get th

What speakers?
I have this receiver and I paired it with set of Klipsch RP-600M II. They go really well together with decent bass and smooth a smooth high end... I also have a vintage pair of KLH 6's that I rotate in on occasion. Great bass but the edge goes to the Klipsch's treble range. With either speaker set y

Not sure I trust the You Tube audiophiles
Throwing in 2 cents—last Christmas I bought my son a pair of Klipsch RP-600M first gen (about $300 on Amazon) and I was blown away by them. Maybe not “audiophile” (I don’t know what that means) but wow were they fun and lively. Great bass and drums

Audio side quest
That is a large living room. Unfortunately the Klipsch speakers are rear ported, and I have mine on approximately 60 cm tall Target stands. I have an open plan main floor, my audio listening rig is at the top of the L in an L shaped floor plan where the long side of the L is approximately 14.7m long

Got this for my partner. Which amp to get?
There are alternatives, but they will likely have less feature and less Power, and still good, but not quite as good of Speakers. Let's see what I can find - Yamaha R-S202 Receiver - $179 - https://www.crutchfield.com/p_022RS202/Yamaha-R-S202.html?tp=47041 This is an OK Amp, but it does not have the

Just got a turntable
These are decent entry level klipsch. However, I’d recommend having patience and watch crutchfield/ Adorama. While you wait save up a bit. I got these for like $300-$350 during a great sale on one of those sites: https://www.crutchfield.com/p_714600M2E/Klipsch-Reference-Premiere-RP-600M-II-Ebony.htm

Gjallarhorn stack options for near field listening
I have the Ghorn and Asgard 2, modi 3e dac. The Ghorn pushes the Klipsch RP-600M. Sounds really good! And for headphones using the Beyerdynamic DT 880 600 ohm version (if I did it over I would’ve gone for the 250 or 32 ohm) Fantastic setup but I have a huge problem. My PC sits right next to the syst
