What a spacious case to build in! (pardon my light strips... not sure if they should stay or not, kind of looks tacky). Can't quite get the RGB to look white other than the ram sticks which are the only ones that look white... any tips do let me know!

Wished it came in a darker grey variant

It's over. It's done. Parts list all ordered.

Been purchasing this all for the past week and finished last night. Some parts have been delivered and the rest will arrive by late next week. RAM is cl36 only because I was able to get it from a local WalMart last week for cheap ($150). It'll do.

Opted for a 9070 because I really didn't want to sp

Clueless dad building PC with son

I think this will be a fun build. I tried to pick parts to fit the budget, but still leave room for upgrades. I'll list a few monitors after the PC. For the CPU, I picked the 7500f. It's a good, but inexpensive cpu. It stays cool with a RGB air cooler. The motherboard has wifi and extra M.2 & DIMM s

Your budget allows for a very nice PC. For the CPU I picked the 9800X3D which is one of the best gaming CPUs. The only CPU that's better is the 9850X3D, but it's only by a few frames and simply isn't worth it for the price difference. For RAM, there's not much to it, it's just the cheapest 32gb kit

Heyy, so I've made my first build and it ends up being 5500$ CAD (with taxes) and I wondered if the price is a little bit high even tho we're in RAM Shortage, is this good for a 9070XT | 64GB DDR5 + 7800X3D build?

You’re paying a large premium in most components for no benefit. You mention only doing hobby editing - the 64GB is more than needed. Also, if Blender rendering, you want an Nvidia GPU - it will render significantly faster (we’re talking nearly twice as fast; you’re gimping yourself getting an AMD G

Is my build fully optimised?

The system will run fine as is. Still, you can cut €300 out of your list without any change to performance, and actually some better aesthetics. Changes: Motherboard: The B850 Tomahawk will do the same for less cost. Memory: Little benefit to paying that much more for slightly lower latency. X3D CPU

Double checking part compatibility / bottlenecks

Compatible motherboard. RAM sticks with a lower height to reduce the risk that you have to move up the front fan of the CPU cooler. Cheaper SSD with the same noticeable performance. The motherboard already has an M.2 heatsink. The 9070 XT has essentially the same performance as the 5070 Ti, but is c

White-themed High-End Gaming Build – Feedback Welcome! ($5000 CAD Budget)

Thoughts: A $5000 build should not have a 5070 Ti; you can build that for half the budget. Needing back-connect motherboards severely limits your choices, which means very poor value. You can achieve a unified aRGB system by using components that use the motherboard standardized 3-pin aRGB headers.

Please verify my build

This should be your build mate. Don't get some cheap ass entry-level 10k motherboard for the top of the line flagship processor. U are doing professional workload and I'm assuming system will be running quite a lot. You will face issues sooner rather than later. For all the aps you want to use with
