Degraded 9800X3D? RAM no longer stable on EXPO profile

I built this system back in late January of 2025 with a 9800X3D on an Asrock B650 Steel Legend WiFi with 2x32GB CL30 6000MHz Teamgroup DDR5 RAM. The motherboard came with BIOS version 3.06 which I immediately updated to 3.16 which was the latest at the time. Been running fine on 3.16 for months at 1

[Updated - Help] Finalizing my white build based on a ref. [9800X3D / RTX 5080 — 10k$CAN]

AI typically has a cutoff date so it's not necessarily going to be up to date with current hardware like X870, the 9850X3D, or the latest PCIe 5 NVMe SSDs. Typically I recommend allocating 40% of the hardware budget to the graphics card. If we stray away from this, there should be a good reason. For

New PC build.

Some thoughts: Corsair components carry a large price premium without providing performance benefit over less expensive alternatives. You've also chosen RS fans which do not natively sync with the iCUE ecosystem - they use standardized 3-pin aRGB connectors that would require additional expensive Co

New build pc for creative work £2k-£2.5k

Here is a suggestion. Some re-allocation of money around to various parts. Upgraded the CPU a bit and went for the best performing AIO on the market today. Faster RAM at CL30. Toned down the motherboard slightly because I think you will find the X870 has either the same or better features than the B

Is this pc decent? My budget is below 2500 lmk if I should swap anything

Suggestions below that upgrade the CPU to a 9800X3D and the GPU to a 5080 for just $170 more, still keeping an AIO, aquarium style case, plenty of aRGB, plus some other improvements. CPU: Upgraded to the 9800X3D. Won't provide a large difference in performance (only about 3% better at 1440p based on

Build for 2000€ with custom case

You can cut a good amount of cost from your list while still keeping the custom case, same performance, and adding more fans while including an AIO with an LCD screen. You're overpaying for Corsair components - they're almost always overpriced, and the RS line doesn't even use iCUE software which is

Custom pc build

You could go for something price-wise that falls in between your two lists (@ $3965), but will perform the same as the more expensive one with a 9800X3D and 5080. In your second list, you added some more expensive parts that aren’t going to provide any performance benefit in games. If you wanted, yo

[Discussion] Review of the Build Before Order

Yeah the 6000 CL36 kits usually are Samsung Die (there are SK Hynix kits but the majority are cheaper Samsung stuff and Micron stuff) so they are bad for OC and value wise, 6000 cl32 , cl30 etc are usually SK Hynix A or M die so they can be tweaked decently. 6400 cl32 and higher frequency stuff are
