Are there any cheap hand grinders that are better than the expensive professional grinders?

Kingrinder K6 is a beast, and the external adjustment is very convenient. 1zpresso Q heptagonal (or Q air for a cheaper model) are both solid. I'd argue the K6 offers more for the money, but the Q is more compact if that matters, and personally I think 1zpresso gear has a little more of a premium fe

what am i doing wrong? shots watery n squirting [DeLonghi ECP3420 / Zurich 367cr13 520A]

It's not necessarily a bad grinder; it can produce interesting results for pourovers. Just not anything finer. I don't think you can find anything new that is good for espresso with that budget. You are also limited to hand grinders with a budget of <100usd. The KinGrinder P series is under 50usd. T

Good grinder for ~ $100?

I own a Kingrinder K6. This was my first time spending this kind of money on coffee stuff. The manufacturing quality is amazing: Very precise fits between the components, nice bearings. Rubber where you grip it and at the bottom (though I am not sure how this particular rubber compound will look in

KinGrinder K6 Settings

I have done a lot of research on Kingrider K6 with a moka pot. The bottom line is that the 60-70 click recommendation on the Kingrinder K6 is a bit too coarse for a moka pot. You should try a max of 60 clicks, and then start reducing 3 clicks everyday so you can find the right spot for your specific

I am BEGGING you to try different grind sizes, especially to fix bitter.

I think it really depends on your taste preference and the beans you use. When I grind coarse(over 55 in kingrinder k6) with the beans I use (usually medium roast specialty beans) it tastes very sour watery and unpleasant. I grind closer to espresso grind and it's delicious for me.Maybe in dark roas

KinGrinder K6 for Espresso-only: Is 16μm precision enough for unpressurized baskets?

If you’re going 100% espresso, the KinGrinder K6 is honestly solid. The 16μm steps are generally fine for dialing inyou might occasionally feel between clicks, but it’s not a big issue in real use. For medium-dark roasts like Blue Tokai, you’ll still get good body, even if it leans slightly towards

Starbucks CEO defends $9 coffee says ‘it’s not a $10 coffee and you get a premium experience’

I'm a Flair user. I started with the Kingrinder K6, but I have a Fellow Opus that I use at home now. I know the Kingrinders go on sale pretty frequently on Amazon. The Opus used to as well, but it seems it's being phased out for the Opus 2. It looks like some retailers like Macy's have it on closeou

Kingrinder K7 vale a pena? Alguém tem?

Uso o Kingrinder K6 tanto para espressos quanto pra coados, construção dele é excelente. A moagem é bem consistente. Não sei se o K7 segue a mesma linha, mas o K6 é extremamente versátil. Para espressos o ajuste fino na moagem é relativamente fácil. Tenha em mente que é bem mais cansativo pra moer e
