Apple Magic Keyboard but split? Somebody is trying to build it!
Hi, this is a fair question. I do want to provide a more detailed explanation of the negative sentiment on the Compose. For broader discussion of the reasons, you can read what others said in the thread I linked. Here, I'll give my own impression on the posted video. "I did a lot of research on ergo

Recommendations for split keyboards? (under $150-$180)
Sounds like you are looking for a row staggered split. You can find pre-owned Kinesis Freestyle Edge RGB keyboards on eBay, that is what I did a couple years back. Skip the Freestyle2. Get the palm pads they are worth it. Switches are cherry brown blue or red and are not hotswappable. NocFree Light

Kinesis Freestyle Edge RBG... or other split keyboard?
I use the Kinesis Freestyle2 Blue and have for years. I don't suggest buying from Amazon, though. I needed to replace my keyboard but their website was out of stock. So I ordered through Amazon. One of the main keys on the left, the delete key, was replaced by a damn emoticon shortcut. I cannot say

Super-Quick Noob Review - Advantage 360 Pro
I thought the Smartset USB was the one with their own software? I'm stuck between this one and the Glove80 but I'm leaning more toward the 80. I've used Kinesis Freestyle2 for many many years and build quality has dropped. Never had an issue with the bluetooth though.

What's the most unusual thing you've got in your drawer of randomness that you never throw out just in case?
Two Father Christmas hats (One is sequined) and a Kinesis Freestyle2 Split Keyboard, which isn't mine, I don't know where it came from, and I hate typing on it. But you never know.

Any recommendations for a portable, low-profile split keyboard? Ideally wireless.
I've looked at most of the responses and they are mostly focusing on column stagger keyboards (chocofi, voyager, iris, toucan, sofle, etc)... IMO those are superior for ergonomics, but there is a 2-4 week learning curve when switching to column stagger keyboards, partially because of the column stag

Returning my Kinesis Advantage 360 Pro
I did a slight inverse of you, during covid I was working somewhere else and didn’t want to spend tons of money to get a new advantage for that location, so I got the cheaper kinesis freestyle2 (which is similar to the edge gaming keyboard). I never liked it, and while I didn’t have any problems wit

100% split keyboards or at least split keyboards that don't have many layers
I’m not a big fan of using layers for everything but I promise you that you don’t want an actual full size keyboard for split. Somehow plenty of people actually do want a full size keyboard, and major vendors such as Logitech and Microsoft are supplying them in great numbers. This is about the MS Na
