Just one of many examples of why Keychron should be avoided.

I used to love Keychron, their keyboards were top notch and their service was good as well. Over the last year, I've had several of their newer keyboards just die on me, the V3 Max I purchased directly from them died a few weeks in, Keychron pulled this stunt on me. A V5 Max I bought from Amazon die

Keychron Q6 or V5 Max? Difference of $15 so I can't decide!

Q6. It is fully supported by QMK and Vial (because it a wired-only keyboard). It is in the main QMK project. Thus it supports the latest and greatest features. And you don't have to worry about managing the battery's charge state (or a fire). Don't participate in the lottery Getting a V5 Max is risk

v5 max vs v6 max vs anything else?

So far as I know all the recent (say, past 2 years) Q and V gasket mounted boards may exhibit the same problems. Keychron has a 96% "K" board that is tray-mounted so doesn't risk board/plate flex ejecting any switches. Other options: Monsgeek M2 v5 VIA ($100) Redragon K742 * ($56 with coupon) Nuphy

Keychron Q6 or V5 Max? Difference of $15 so I can't decide!

Still had the same problem, just not as bad. In short I'll never but keychron again. This sub is littered
