Forgive me I’m new to keyboards…

You don't need software for any mechanical keyboard unless you want to change the configuration or layout. If the keyboard is QMK you can configure it from Chrome or Edge using usevia.app and possibly a JSON configuration file. Small to large QMK boards: 60%: Redragon K717 Pro * ($30) CIDOO QK61 * ($6

Anyone have YUNZII Experiences/Knowledge?

Stick to QMK boards that use VIA or VIAL for configuration. Yunzii has several of these. 60%: Redragon K717 Pro * ($30) CIDOO QK61 * ($60) Skyloong GK61 QMK/VIA * ($54) Royal Kludge RK61 QMK/VIA * ($40) Womier WK61 Pro * ($31) YMDK DK61 * ($88 barebones, wooden case) KBDcraft Adam 60% * ($70 lego case) 65

The designs are what they are, some find them boring and overpriced. I would say if a design works,

Eave 65 plus

Still stand that its nice for the price. Only downside I had was the daughter wire on fitting the silicon guide prop

Steelseries vs Razer switch options

I feel like it depends on which Keychron series you get though. I first tried the V1 Max with Gateron Jupiter Banana switches and thought it felt cheap, from the case's materials to the light press feel of the keys (even though the Bananas were meant to be the heaviest tactile switch available). Hello guys, I was looking to buy the M1 V5 Via Rapid Disassembly or the M1 V5 Via 1980s from Monsgeek because it is on sale (especially the 1980s because it's fully assembled and is the same price as the barebone (70$ CAD for reference)). I also like the fact that the 1980s came with Akko's Botany s
