Keychron admits to manufacturing defects with their keyboards, does not offer a recall, but offers a blog for people to read. Keychron is not a reliable company, this is not how business is done. Avoid their products.

It's a bit of a shame, I have to admit. I have 2 Keychrons (V8 (65% Alice) and OG Q2 (65%)), and I can't really complain. Both work great. Although I'm not challenging the fact that Keychron is not a reliable brand anymore. Since the whole HE boom, I saw many posts complaining about the quality issu

I’ve Tried Most of Kailh Choc V1 and V2 Tactile Switches (+ Gateron KS-33 for Comparison)

Background / DisclaimerI don’t have much experience with mechanical keyboards. I’ve been using Apple scissor-switch and similar keyboards for years. I like them just fine — except maybe the lack of post-travel. I also have a Keychron K3 Max with Gateron KS-33 Brown (aka Low Profile 2.0) switches, wh

And we're LIVE with the official Slay the Spire keyboard collection with a special LAUNCH CODE!

Site says these are themed Keychron V1 Max's. I actually own one of those and they're generally regarded as a great value for their price. Really happy with mine and the latency on 2.4 wireless is super low for any gaming situation. A lot of the price here is in the design and art, but the keyboard

Forgive me I’m new to keyboards…

You don't need software for any mechanical keyboard unless you want to change the configuration or layout. If the keyboard is QMK you can configure it from Chrome or Edge using usevia.app and possibly a JSON configuration file. Small to large QMK boards: 60%: Redragon K717 Pro * ($30) CIDOO QK61 * ($6

Logitech G PRO X TKL Rapid x Razer Huntsman V3 Pro TKL

Yuck. Just no. Here's what I would recommend: 60%: Redragon K717 Pro * ($18) CIDOO QK61 * ($60) Skyloong GK61 QMK/VIA * ($54) Royal Kludge RK61 QMK/VIA * ($40) Womier WK61 Pro * ($29) YMDK DK61 * ($88 barebones, wooden case) KBDcraft Adam 60% * ($70 lego case) 65%: Womier VK66 Pro * ($39) Royal Kludge RK R6

Are aluminum Keyboards always better than plastic-made ones?

It’s just a matter of preference when it comes to alu vs plastic for the case material. I think that good plastic keyboards can sound absolutely amazing. I think my Keychron V1 sounds pretty damn good for a plastic case. I’ve not tried but the Bauer Lite should be a really nice sounding keyboard for

NUT65 - my thockiest board so far.

I've been rocking mine for a week now. What an incredible piece it is. I come from a Keychron V1 and this one is light-years ahead in all aspects. I built mine with womier double-shot PBT keycaps and Huano Sakura switches. The combination is incredible, thocky as heck! The keyboard works perfectly w

anyone know what keyboard this is?

Keychron V1 Max with 100% certainty. You can see based on the symbols on the number keys 1 - 4, it has BT and RF wireless, thus not a V1 nor Q1 nor Q1 Pro. If it were a Q1 Max, it would have different keycaps (KSA profile in a different colorway)

First keyboard that I built myself! (Lucky65v2)

Board: Lucky65v2 Switches: Gateron Milky Yellow Pros (KS-3) Keycaps: Shirakawa (Dye sub PBT) from Pressplay (not sure if it's a clone sorry) Not my first mechanical keyboard (that was the Keychron v1), but the first I built from a barebones kit! Mostly inspired to try because I wanted a keyboard som
