Are aluminum Keyboards always better than plastic-made ones?
It’s just a matter of preference when it comes to alu vs plastic for the case material. I think that good plastic keyboards can sound absolutely amazing. I think my Keychron V1 sounds pretty damn good for a plastic case. I’ve not tried but the Bauer Lite should be a really nice sounding keyboard for

Help me decide between these keyboards:
Personally have the Yunzii Al80 as my daily and it's really a great aluminum keyboard. Though in a snob and modded it to sound even better. I prefer more thonky, creamy, marbly sounding boards and the AL80 sounds AMAZING with Gateron milky yellow pros 3. I tried many switches on this board, and thes

Vrijedi li?
Ne, uzmi keychron v1 max, osobno koristim, puno bolja od corsair-a i logitecha Isto 75%, manje para, bolja kvaliteta. Imas i alternative u drugim velicinama, open source driveri koje mozes konfigurirati, osjecaj tipkanja nemjerljivo bolji, ja sam na svojoj napravio tape mod i feeling je ko tipkovnic

Response: "PSA: Do NOT buy from InputGear AKA "CandyKeys""
Ordered a Keychron V1 back in 2022, had 0 issues and shipping took only a few days.

New to Hall Effect- opinions?
Keychron has two brand new magnetic boards on Amazon recently, which is why there are no reviews. The J2 HE is based on the Jamesdonkey J2 case, and the J8 HE seems to be the Keychron V1 case. I expect the PCBs and firmware are similar to the other Keychron magnetic boards... I would go with the J2,

My sorta clean setup. Nothing fancy or super expensive, does what I need it to do :)
Ive had it for almost a year now, love it, never had any issues with this one but I had the keychron v1 max and had to return it under warranty 3 times. Got a replacement 3 times before the guy where I got my keyboard from just told me to choose something else of his shelf and I chose the K2 HE SE a

First time having a proper budget for a keyboard, please help?
ngl moving from a £30 board to something proper is a huge jump. for £200 you can get something that'll last years. keychron v1 is a solid 75% prebuilt around £100, leaves you budget for nicer keycaps later. if you want full size, leopold fc900r is built like a tank and sounds great stock. for buildi

Please help me find a keyboard ( clueless )
for 75% hotswap with rgb, the keychron v1 max is a great starting point - has a knob option and the software is easy. the yunzii yz75 is another solid choice thats a bit cheaper but still hotswap with nice rgb. if you want something closer to 85%, the leobog hi75 is super popular right now for the s

What’s an underrated budget keyboard?
i've been down that rabbit hole too. one that flew under my radar for a while was the Keychron V1 - solid 75% build for around $80 and really reliable. also check out the MonsGeek M1 if you want something heavier, it's a tank for the price and feels way more premium than it costs.

Honestly, how do you guys pick a keyboard without going insane?
I’ve had a keychron v1 max for over a year now and it’s been flawless. I needed a keyboard, saw it at microcenter, price was alright, bought it, have been satisfied. I haven’t done a single thing to it. With any product the people who have issue are the loudest. They are even a smaller minority than
