Hot Take: My Keychron keyboards have been great

I have the older, regular mechanical Q6 Max and just got the new HE spin on it. You can tell Keychron has improved the design as they're effectively the same KB chassis but the HE variant has much better insulation design and the control slider switches don't rattle. And a side benefit as there's no

Your thoughts on a Full Sized Keyboard | Keychron Q6 MAX

I've got various, Ducky One X, Keychron Q6 Max, Ducky 6108, Keychron B6 Pro and so on. The Q6 Max is the best feeling thanks to how much it weights and how those switches feel. I use the Keychron Hacker Mint keycaps though.

FYI, I went for a Keychron Q6 Max with browns. While I like the browns, I swapped the switches to the TTC Frozen Silent v2 you suggested, they are great, thank you for that.I also got a set of epomaker sea salt silent v3 to try out. Now, while I love the look and feel of the stock keycaps on the Q6

Normal Profile Alternative to iqunix MQ80?

This is good to know, and helpful information!I actually originally have the Keychron Q6 Max, which I love. But I kinda want the quieter, more creamy/thocky sound. What would be good switches/caps to swap on this Keychron board?

Our annual Keyboard Meetup is happening in Des Moines this May!

Always wanted to get into it. Never ventured deep. I have a basic Keychron Q6 Max with some aftermarket keycaps and installed different switches because the ones that came with it sucked. I love how heavy it is with the solid metal body

Typing feel of Q6 vs V6.

If you want portability and speed get the V6 max with red switches; If you want more feedback/positive weight to each keystroke and have a deeper sound out of the box go with a Q6Max and their Banana switches. I own a Q13 (red switch) and a V10 Max (banana switches with very similar alice setup). I

What are the best keyboards out there right now?

I don't remember the Steel Series Model off the top of my head, it wasn't one of their top of the line boards. My wife uses a V5 and I use the same at work, both with Keychron Pro Reds. For gaming I use a Q6 Max with Gateron Jupiter Banana switches. I like the shorter push depth and tactile switch.

Looking for keyboard recommendations

I own the original Keychron Q6, it came with shine-through keycaps, but I don't know where you could buy that model right now (might come up in the used market) - my only issue was that the keycaps it came with were not to my liking (weird texture and profile, not your usual ABS keycaps, felt kinda

I bought a Keychron Q6M with Gateron Banana switches recently. At first, this combo felt like a huge upgrade over my 6+ year old Logitech G915 in terms of typing (my primary use case), but now I'm starting to have issues with double bounce when I type. I think the issue is actuation pressure is a bi
