My q6 max has been double typing ever since new. I've been living with it but this will probably be my first and last keychron. Edit: I used the keychron launcher to update my firmware on my q6 max. Tentatively, it seems like it's working fine now. The firmware change log said it "1. Fixed key doubl

I ordered the keychron q6 max and the bloody ‘d’ isn’t working right out the gate Are the switches hotswappable? Literally just replace the switch with a key on the keyboard that you never press and avoid buying another keyboard all together.

I returned it and ordered the Q6 max which is meant to not have the issue Says who? There's no reason to assume any gasket-mounted Keychron board can't have the problem. Or is this a common problem Seems to be.

If you by "they" mean the people who had problems, some of them have troubleshooted it, found the root cause, and fixed it/repaired it. Warranty, if the process works, is the correct action, but the point is that the causes of this problem are fairly well known. Misaligned plates Due to the physical

It often takes several months before the problem shows up. For example, Keychron Q6 Max assembly help. The problems started a few months in, and developed to a point where the keyboard became unusable. The assembly part is about a provided new PCB. #49

I never said I wanted to do a warranty return, I wanted to offer feedback!!!! This isn’t just ‘my issue’—this is a widespread issue with the Keychron Max Q6 (as you will see from this sub) that never should have left production with the amount of subpar units if they had real QA. You can dig at Ap

Keychron Q6 Max 100% broken and needing replacing at 15 months of use. My PBC is completely broken after 15 months and quotes to replace are through the roof... apparently this is a common issue. I'm not someone who is capable of replacing a PBC board, but I can and do clean and swap switches. So, I

I'm late to the thread, but I hope I can warn whoever finds it against buying a Keychron. I bought the board below and it's been a miserable POS--double key presses is the main thing. Their service is slow to non-existent. Keychron Q6 Max QMK/VIA Wireless Custom Mechanical KeyboardFully Assembled Kn
