I have zero issues with Keychron Q6 (manufactured in 2022, before their QC problems began). Unfortunately all Q non-Max models are out of production since 2022, apparently :/

My q6 max has been double typing ever since new. I've been living with it but this will probably be my first and last keychron. Edit: I used the keychron launcher to update my firmware on my q6 max. Tentatively, it seems like it's working fine now. The firmware change log said it "1. Fixed key doubl

100% with knob is my preference as well. Add macro keys and ISO, and you have exactly one manufacturer with decent products (well, sort of what with their 2024 QC problems): Keychron. Yeah, M5 - no knob, Qk101 - no knob, less keys, two screens (?). So, Keychron it is. V6 Max, Q6 Max, Q6 HE are all w

I have the older, regular mechanical Q6 Max and just got the new HE spin on it. You can tell Keychron has improved the design as they're effectively the same KB chassis but the HE variant has much better insulation design and the control slider switches don't rattle. And a side benefit as there's no

Q6 Max Fan here ... The amount of issues people post about Keychron is generally constant and has not (imo) increased lately ... I've had no issues with Q6 Max (purchased from k's .com site last year) nor issues with their launcher or updating firmware from the launcher ... Happy to be considered lu

I ordered the keychron q6 max and the bloody ‘d’ isn’t working right out the gate Are the switches hotswappable? Literally just replace the switch with a key on the keyboard that you never press and avoid buying another keyboard all together.

I returned it and ordered the Q6 max which is meant to not have the issue Says who? There's no reason to assume any gasket-mounted Keychron board can't have the problem. Or is this a common problem Seems to be.

If you by "they" mean the people who had problems, some of them have troubleshooted it, found the root cause, and fixed it/repaired it. Warranty, if the process works, is the correct action, but the point is that the causes of this problem are fairly well known. Misaligned plates Due to the physical

It often takes several months before the problem shows up. For example, Keychron Q6 Max assembly help. The problems started a few months in, and developed to a point where the keyboard became unusable. The assembly part is about a provided new PCB. #49

There is nothing wrong with Keychron. They are not flashy, but they are fine. I tried a V4; I helped a coworker build his Q6 Max; and another coworker has two Keychron keyboards (one for home and one for the office) that he is very happy with. I would avoid any manufacturers on the QMK license viola
