You can get a Keychron V5/Q5 MAX or a V6/Q6 MAX if you want a wireless keyboard. It'll last far longer than anything from Logitech. The V6/Q6 is a fullsize while the V5/Q5 is a compact-fullsize about the size of a TKL while still having the same amount of a keys as a fullsize. If you plan to use it

Hello! What will you primarily be using your keyboard for (office/school work, gaming, programming, etc.)? My first mechanical keyboard was a Keychron Q1 (75%, so not your ideal layout preference). I think it was an excellent board to introduce me to the hobby and I assume the Q5 Max is just as grea

I'll throw another recommendation at you--a Keychron Q5 MAX instead. It's more compact than a full size but still has all the same keys so it means less movement of your hands from one side to the other. Forget all those terms for now if you're just starting out. Since all you're used to are the mem

All metal case, hot swap, with numpad and sound dampening?

i've been down this exact road looking for a quiet work board. the Keychron Q5 Pro fits almost everything you listed - all aluminum, hotswap, has the numpad, foam already inside, and gasket mount. comes in under your budget too. if you want wireless, the Q5 Max adds that for a bit more. i'd grab som

To answer your questions regarding Keychron: Is it a good brand? Yes. They are currently widely considered the best "bang for buck" entry point into the premium mechanical keyboard hobby. You get a full CNC aluminum case and QMK/VIA support for a price that is hard to beat. Q5 Pro for beginners? A

Looking for a keyboard to use across windows and macos

If you want mechanical then Keychron is the obvious choice. If you want high profile and need a numpad go for the Q5 Max or V5 Max. If you don’t need a numpad Q1 Max or V1 Max. For low profile go K3 Max with no numpad or K17 Max if you need a numpad. If you don’t want mechanical then the Logitech MX

Can keychron and lemokey patch this dangerous bug in a firmware update?

2.4 GHz is effectively identical to wired on Keychron boards. Check this RTings review latency test result for the Q Max series:https://www.rtings.com/keyboard/1-3-1/graph/23182/single-key-latency-graph/keychron-q5-max-q1-max-q2-max-etc/48906 There's basically no reason to use it in wired mode for a
