I just bought the Keychron Q6 HE 8K. Playing on Logitech G910 for many years, I felt my performance was lagging a bit My son bought the Q5 Max and said Keychron is the best quality board on the market. Keys are solid with aluminum frame. Keyboard weighs 4.1 lbs. - thats insane! Heard Wooting was the

I have picked up a Keychron Q5 Max for my office keyboard and have loved it so far. I swapped to an MT3 profile keycap set + TTC silent bluish white v2’s though.

Hello! What will you primarily be using your keyboard for (office/school work, gaming, programming, etc.)? My first mechanical keyboard was a Keychron Q1 (75%, so not your ideal layout preference). I think it was an excellent board to introduce me to the hobby and I assume the Q5 Max is just as grea

Eventually you’re going to want the Magic Keyboard case and will buy it anyways so you’ll be spending more money in the end if you buy something else instead for the time being especially if you want portability. Just saying. To actually answer your original question though, the best option that doe

Specific keyboards to consider:- Keychron K2 (Hot‑Swappable) Keychron Q5 Max / V5 Max (if he wants full‑size) Gamakay TK75V2 Kensington MK7500F QuietType Pro My personal reco

I want a mechanical keyboard that feels like the Keychron Q5 Max to type on (which my partner has, and I like it). It has Gateron brown switches and standard height keycaps. But I need it to have a Trackpoint (non-negotiable), and preferably to be very compact (e.g. 65%). I currently use a Thinkpad

I'd just get an ISO Keychron V5 MAX or a Q5 MAX if you have the budget for it. Note the V5 MAX will be lighter if you are planning on toting it around otherwise the Q5 is much heavier. The Q5 is gasket mounted so typing on it is a little more 'bouncy' and the sound is a bit more muted than the V5 if

I am new to keyboards and I am looking for the best pre-built keyboard which will be used mainly for typing. For context, I enjoy the Wobkey Rainy 75 and Crush 80, Keychron Q5 Max (linear) and Q5 HE. I also enjoy the ASUS Jelly75. Any suggestions based off of this?
