I’ve been using a keychron Q5 max since mid 2024 and it’s an excellent keyboard. No issues

i actually almost pulled the trigger on a Q5 Max but was turned off from the same issues too, it's why i went Q5 Pro (i don't need the wireless, i'm wired only and the extra foam was hardly worth it given the price differential at the time for me was $50+ dollars). not a single issue since recieving

For what it’s worth I have a keychron Q5 Max that I bought in mid 2024 and it’s a great keyboard, no major issues

I hope it stays that way. I have 2 Q1 (Pro and HE), and the Q5 Max. I have the Lemokey L1, and L1-HE. (I have a problem, but not with Keychron). All of these boards have been solid ... so far ... I expect they will stay solid.

Maybe not so? Perhaps I have been lucky through the q1 pro, q5 max, q1 he, lemo l1, lemo he, but I have not had a failure from keychron. I have seen several posts about avoiding the q6, which I have no experience. I have moved on from Keychron to other boards, but KC was a good gateway drug.
