What’s going on with Keychron?
So I have several older Keychron keyboards (Q, Q Pro and V series). I've had almost no problems with them with the exception of one original model Q5 that had a hot swap socket connector pop off the rear of the PCB (which potentially was my fault when replacing switches on it as I've swapped switche

Keychron Q1 HE 8K vs SU75 PRO / IROK MG75 PRO/MAX/V2
Absolute no brainer. su75 pro any day. Skip keychron completely. Irok mg75 V2 is a good choice in terms of performance but it's not a big difference from su75 pro in tests (at least not something a human can notice as much). Stability, feel, build quality and most importantly software matters way mo

Keyboard recommendations
120 percent or 120 keys? o.O Full size is what u describe - (normal keyboard alpha-numeric + fkeys top row + arrow and function keys then + numpad on right side) And u can get a 80% (which is what I believe the wooting 80 is) he, he = hall effect (magnetic switches, NOT mechanical, but most magnetic

Unpopular opinion: the V1 at $74 makes the Q1 Max at $199 almost impossible to justify. I ran the numbers.
The Q are really hard to justify, except maybe the Q4 is still a bit of a bargain. I still prefer the J2 to any of the Q or V lines. The Keychron design language that makes then leave out the bottom key in the navigation column in the V1/Q1 kind of ticks me off. Moving the column over 1/4u and putti

is the keychron v5 max a good keyboard?
Here is a different kind of feature matrix. Though it is missing a lot of keyboards. For example, the only HE keyboard is Q1 HE. I don't see the point if such a list is not comprehensive.

Meet the world's first full-body ceramic keyboard — the Keychron Q16 HE 8K.
Was a big fan, until my Q1 HE bugs that keychron support ignores. Still doesn’t work with any Apple related.

Keychron sales
Not sure what shortcomings you see, I have a Q4 and a Monsgeek M1 v3 and the quality and features of the Monsgeek board are at least in-line with the Keychron. Keychron has been having serious quality control and design problems, particularly in gasket mounted boards like the Q1, and their overworke

Keychron Q1 HE 8k firmware issues
For this closed source (proprietary keyboard firmware) keyboard, the manual does not say anything about putting the keyboard into flash mode (but neither do most of the other manuals), other than deferring to the Via clone ("follow the instructions"). What does it actually say in the Via clone? Lite

Problem auto-calibration and EEPROM firmware
Re "I'm concerned about the lifespan of the EEPROM, as the continuous writing process significantly reduces its lifespan": How often does it write? At what (average) frequency? This keyboard uses emulated EEPROM memory (not physical EEPROM) in flash memory (and twice the size in RAM ("backing", what
