I've owned all three Lenovo models. None of them come close to an internal laptop keyboard because they're poorly replicated. However, there is a private project with an X201 keyboard, but unfortunately, I don't have the name or link handy.I wanted/want an external keyboard because I'm "retiring" my

I myself can attest to Keychrons QC being ass after I bought a low profile Keychron K3 V3 QMK board. If you want to I can elaborate on what exactly was the issue, but it doesn't change the fact that for every person which had a negative experience with Keychron there's probably a couple other who ha

Re "QMK firmware for the K3 V3 in their GitHub repository": If you mean the source code for the keyboard firmware, then it is in branch "wls_2025q1" Here are some instructions for the initial setup. Note the branch confusion. References K3 V3 JSON files for Via. Near "K3 version 3 ISO RGB keymap". N

Thanks for sharing your experience with the Kailh boards. I haven't bought one yet (and probably won't in the near future) but I'm always interested in hands-on reviews. I also had a couple of instances where I was literally one click away from buying a Magi75 but every time the bad reviews about st

Not really - at least not in terms of Gateron/Keychron switches since I switched over to the Air75V3 like 2 weeks after the K3V3 had arrived. That was mainly because I got fed up with a myriad of QC issues that board had (rattly spacebar, low quality ON/OFF switches, uneven bottom ABS plate, scratch

I have to admit that I haven't really seen many complaints in that regard. I bought a K3 V3 like half a year ago shortly after its release and the up-to-date source code was already published. Maybe the issue you're talking about is related to some of their really old boards, but even then I know th

I previously tried a Keychron K3 V3 with brown switches, but it felt too sensitive, and the lack of tactile feedback actually reduced my typing accuracy. Overall, typing on it just wasn’t enjoyable for me. Do you mean red switches? Or do you mean something poppier than brown? Try Gateron Banana LP o

Hello, afterall I chose and bought Keychron K3 V3 QMK with red switches. Main points were: ISO layout - I found out that I will really miss "big enter" key, I tried ANSI, but made so much typos. Backlit - It has see-through keycaps from the start, which was big plus against Nuphy Air V3. It also has
