My keyboard died and I need a new one urgently – which should I choose

Out of those I would go for the K10. Gamerbro companies are often problematic and the Keychron Q and V lines have been having issues with switches working loose. The Keychron J8 HE just dropped on Amazon US and it looks quite nice on paper. https://www.amazon.com/Keychron-Keyboard-Magnetic-Hot-Swapp

Gift idea for my sister starting her MS in Civil Engineering

I finished mine in Dec. 2024. I have recommendations. Good keyboard and mouse. I really like my Keychron K10 keyboard. Good noise cancelling earbuds or headphones. There will likely be sales soon with Memorial Day coming up. Take her to get some steel toe boots she likes. They can be hard to find. I

What HE or TMR keyboard do yall recommend for 200~ or less?

I recently got a Keychron K10 HE wireless it’s a full sized and I have no complaints so far. Good build quality and easy to use web based software.

Help me chose

I would say that you would be much better served by the V6 Ultra over the V6 Max. I don't know if you chose that because of the price difference, but the V6 Ultra is better board in a lot of ways. The ZMK firmware instead of the QMK means that on BT you're going to get, like, 600 hours of batter (wi

Full size home office keyboard (Keychron vs Epomaker)

I would personally recommend the Keychron K10 because while the construction is less premium it's quite solid, and the K series doesn't seem to have the problem with switches working loose over time that the gasket mounted boards are susceptible to. I would avoid Epomaker, it is a problematic compan

Keyboard like Epomaker galaxy 100 lite but reliable?

but similar to the keychron quality seems to be a concern. I believe the issues with those stem down to a few points on certain lines (V, Q and others that have gasket mount switches) Poron foam plate on gasket mounting boards is too soft/thick and causes switches not to seat properly (easy fix - re

Keychron Q6 Ultra

I kept both 2 weeks, returned the Q6 Ultra. Maybe Keychron sent out new firmware, but they wanted me to send serial number, proof of purchase, and do diagnostics on it, refusing to send firmware until I did this... seems Best Buy or Keychron accidentally released it early, and Keychron support seeme

Just saw your edit, a family member has a ducky one 2 for a few years now without issues. That being said, I also have colleagues/family using various Keychron K10 and V6 without issues.
