Some differences: K10 Max: There is a risk of running into the Keychron 2024 production quality issues with key chattering and missed keystrokes (an example). It has the blinding light problem. It is the heaviest of the bunch, at about 1360 g (15% heavier than the V6 and 40% heavier than the V6 Max)

I recently bought a k10 max as my first mechanical keyboard. Swapped out all the switches Changed most of the keycaps Updated lighting options & some key bindings I use it 3 days working from home & 2 in the office. Can't say I've had a single issue. I did buy it via Amazon not directly. Only proble

but similar to the keychron quality seems to be a concern. I believe the issues with those stem down to a few points on certain lines (V, Q and others that have gasket mount switches) Poron foam plate on gasket mounting boards is too soft/thick and causes switches not to seat properly (easy fix - re

Are you sure it is the switches? Have you done controlled experiments? For example, does a suspect switch still fail if inserted back in (in a different location)? Reseat before exchanging. Related: Keychron 2024 design and production quality issues with keychattering and missed keystrokes Keychron

The new Keychron's are absolute shit, and there's no way they tested them. Avoid at all costs. Yes, exactly as you said, they blind the fk out of you. There's zero chance they tested them. I tried everything. Making light shields, reflective stickers, nothing would fix it. i have better $30 mechanic

Keychron K10 max is safer than the V or Q series. You don't want to get stuck with a flakey board because you got one where the flexy mount makes the switches work loose. Don't worry about the switches a board comes with, you can always swap them out.

Looked into Keychron and liking what I see! But not sure on which to get. Could go for the premium Keychron Q1 HE, or the Keychron K10 Max which is £140 cheaper on amazon than the Q1 but still has great reviews and quality assurance. Wondering if it's worth the extra £140 for a more premium keyboard

Re "All feedback is appreciated": A (reputable) local reseller is recommended, in case there is something wrong with the keyboard. Both types are troubled to some (unknown) degree: Keychron 2024 design and production quality issues with keychattering and missed keystrokes. Examples: Second Keychron

Keychron Q6 Ultra with Banana switches, or Monsgeek M5 if you want easily accessible 100% board with nice features. Maybe Keychron V6 Max / K10 Max or one of the HE (TMR) boards. Unfortunately recent Keychrons are not all that great (Max series). Ultra series might have fixed the issues, we don't kn

Re "Does that mean the K10 Max isn't known to have the issue?": No, there are many reports for the K Max series For example, Second Keychron K10 Max in a row with an intermittent key. It was claimed to be due to a bad switch, but it could just as well have been due to the usual fallacy (extremely co
