Re "they've have been sold out": Which ones? Some full-size QMK-based Keychron keyboards with ISO variants (or likely to be added): K10 HE. Newly introduced K10 V2 (QMK-based). Introduced in 2024. It definitely has ISO variants (for example, SKU number K10X-J3Z-BO and by the presence of source code

Dammit I've been having these same issues with my k10 he but the keychron website doesn't have an easy way to file warranty claims.

Re "how is the the key visibility": It is literally blinding (read: useless) For it to work, A modification is required. It is tedious and time-consuming to apply. Be sure to get shine-through keycaps (pictures can be deceiving, and the particular variant with shine-through keycaps may be "sold out"

Re "you can just swap out the keycaps": That is only practical for keyboards with north-facing LEDs (like the K10 HE), especially for ISO variants (not even from Keychron, as they are likely "sold out", to never ever return) It is slightly easier for a standard 100% layout (or true TKL), but not by

Palm rest might help, but it does take some getting used to. And different mechanical keyboards also differ between the types of switches. A longer time ago I used a clicky mechanical keyboard (MX blue switches) which was great back then, but the in the more recent past I used a (low profile) Logite

I have only used my My K10 HE Pro on my Omarchy Linux machine, and it started with the repeating tilde problem. Next, I reset to factory defaults (FN+j+z), though I had made zero alterations to the keyboard. Red flashing backlight confirmed the reset.Immediately after, the tilde key quit working alt

Here is a list. And one focused on availability and ISO variants. At least the K10 HE doesn't have blinding light, but the selection of "switches" is much lower (many orders of magnitude) for a Keychron HE keyboard. Gotcha: Pictures on the product pages can be deceptive, e.g., if the keycaps are shi

Here is a list of full-size Keychron keyboards. Be aware of: Keycaps that are not shine-through, even if pictures seem to suggest they are. Resellers often also list it incorrectly (probably honest mistakes) The blinding light. The very limited selection of shine-through keycaps, especially for ISO

If you’re not a gamer, I wouldn’t recommend the Keychron K10 HE. You could get the regular K10 which would be cheaper. I have a V6 Max as my keyboard at work and I love it. Mine came with Gateron Jupiter reds which I swapped out for some oil kings. I have an Epomaker and an Aula, though not any of t

Re "The F1, F2, etc. are not lit at all": Yeah, that is the case for at least the Keychron K10 HE and K10 V2 (AKA 'K10 QMK') It is a design blunder by Keychron: On the blinding light keyboards, like the V6, F1-F12 were properly lit.
