OK, looking at the Keychron website, it looks like the original K1 had more chiclet-style keycaps, like a Macbook, while the K1 Max has keycaps that are more like a Thinkpad. I recommend picking up a pack of Keychron low profile silent red switches. They are usually around $20-30 on Amazon. You can switch out the brown switches with those. Unfortunately, I dont think keychron offers the K1 Max with a prebuilt silent option. But check Amazon just in case.
