Why does something like this not exist ?

I've been wanting this for a long while now. I even submitted it as a request on the official Logitech MX Collective Discord server. That said the Keychron K0 Max comes so very close as a mechanical version.

Looking for new keyboard

Wooting 80HE is gonna be your best bet, then get a numpad like maybe the Keychron K0 Max. You won't get some of the things like a screen and maybe not tri-mode connectivity (i don't remember if it has it) but you should get most of your wishlist that way.

V0 Ulta - help an old idiot out

Re "V0 Ultra": That is nice It is similar to K0 Max (reasonably priced), but with much lower power consumption (because it is based on ZMK). I would seriously consider getting one, but not before the source code has not released.

Macropad for Work Office

Re "the price is a bit high": It indeed is. In fact, most macro pads with mechanical switches are overpriced. The K0 Max is cheaper (about half). Note that it is low profile.

Disappointed by MX Keys S

I have the Keychron K0 Max and find it quite good, better than expected. It is both smoother and quieter than expected. There is very little wobble on the keys, but there is a small amount of rattle on the 0 and Enter key stabilizers, and I may and try to add some lube to them. It is extremely relia

Discreet music controller for Mac Mini?

I recently went down this exact rabbit hole! I had very similar needs, and I settled on a Keychron K0 Max number pad. It has a volume knob and an entire keypad to assign inputs and macros to. So I have keys set to play/pause, skip, etc. And keys to open Apple Music and Audio MIDI Setup. It's worked

k0 max keypad problem with usability

You can increase the number of macros and the space for macros, but it requires changing the keyboard firmware (changing a few numbers in the source code and compile). It also opens for defining classic QMK macros (static macros). For example, stable and tested dynamic macros can be migrated to be c

Any issues with the q6 he?

Sadly no. I will be honest and say that I went from a 100% and switched to using a 65% board with a separate Numb pad, and it’s worked great. Much smaller footprint. Perhaps get the Hex80, and then a Keychron numb pad such as the Q0 Mac or the cheaper Ko Max? Both have knobs. https://mechanicalkeybo
