LSX Wireless Music System

I like how the LS50 Wireless II is now labelled as an “entry point” speaker for “small rooms”, with its “standard KEF cabinet”. Granted that’s not KEF’s literature (I hope?) but still. Where does this leave the LSX II in terms of the line up? Is that one meant for cupboards?

Tested them on a Denon Home Amp, and together they sounded significantly better than KEF LSX ii, at least in my ears… Off course, the bass is limited, and there are better options out there, but probably not for the price.

Love the imaging of the LS50 Metas, but can’t afford Blade Metas (for that full-range sound), so over the course of a couple of years gradually built a system that could try to simulate them on a lesser budget. I would hope that at that price point KEF have finally nailed the wireless connectivity. I bought recently a pair of LSX II as TV speakers and secondary system. they sound good…when they bother to connect to my WiFi and with each other! It’s been an endless nightmare since I bought them.

I'm reading about US folks getting the KEF LSX II for $300, yet I'm looking at a $1,300 price tag locally. That is a $1,000 difference! How on earth is this even justifiable

Kef LSX II LT has its own amplifier built in being full active speakers with power amplifiers built in. It lacks analogue inputs and you have optical, Ethernet, HDMI and wireless inputs. Please note that the LT model version of KEF LSX II do not have any analog inputs. So it would be the wrong choice for a turntable setup. (You would still need to make your personal choice/preference between the KEF LSX II and Coda W.)
