My current setup any ideas to elevate it further? 🖤 🥷

A) Extend the wood design you have behind the monitor across the entire back wall, from floor to ceiling B) Replace the surface of your desktop with a wider piece of real wood (like black walnut) that extends overtop of each cabinet on either side. This way you could also put your speakers up on the

Beolab 8s vs KEF LSX II for desk + future living room setup?

I have both. One set of Beolab 8 in my bedroom and one set as rear speakers to my Beovision Theatre in the living room. The Kef LSX II is used as desktop speakers in my office. Like @matteventu wrote above, the Beolab 8 are more similar to LS 50 Wireless II than LSX. The Beolab 8 can play louder and

This close to getting the LSX II LT ... unless I should get the LSX II ?

I have LSX II paired with KC65 in my office and it’s such an amazing set up. I literally can’t wait every day till I get the chance to listen to them. Music, movies, YouTube, games - all sounds fantastic on them. I have them connected via usb-c to my mac mini and never use the wireless mode. Yes, in

Desktop speakers, LSX II LT or Coda W?

Youre going to want a sub either way. Coda is more tailored towards vinyl playback, including additional components like phonopreamp. +1 for the lsx lt. and you can get the kef desktop stands for them which pair perfectly and give you that upward tilt if you cant otherwise angle them perfectly towar

Desktop speakers, LSX II LT or Coda W?

Upfront, I've not heard the Coda Ws. But I do own a pair of LSX II LTs paired with the KEF Kube 8 MIE with my M4 MacStudio as the source. Due to geographical constraints, I bought them blind. I consider myself something of an audiophile (I have a vinyl-only system that cost c. £30k to assemble), I'm

Attic setup inside a triangle nook

They’re KEF LSX II paired with a KC62 sub. honestly a huge step up from typical desktop speakers. Super clear mids/highs with great stereo imaging, and the KC62 adds tight, clean bass without overpowering the setup. For nearfield listening they’re fantastic, very detailed but still fun. Definitely f

Torn between KEF LSX II + KC62 or LS50 Wireless II – which is the better choice?

LS50. The LSX II really is a desktop/bedroom/small room speaker. There's a reason the LSXs are the only KEFs with USB. Besides, as you note, you can always add a sub to the 50s later, with the LSXs, you'll be forever limited by them. And this from someone who has the LSX IIs and no LS50s. They work

My new setup since yesterday. KEF LS50 Meta, KEF KC62 Sub and BlueSound Powernode N331

Good speaker isolation can make a surprising difference. Also, Kanto SP series desktop stands tend to look pretty nice with KEF speakers, and they come in black or white and a couple of height options (6" + 9"). Oh, and at the risk of starting a flame war here.... The stock power cables (I have LSX

Kef LSX II LT or Coda W

LSX II LT still sell in KEF , the huge discount is from Costco. It is a good value if it is $400--500. for a desk set up I will I will choose LSX II LT , it looks nice, imo. and it takes less space. Why you want to keep the dac? both kef are active speaker, it has it own DAC.

LSX IIs + KC92 overkill for computer desk?

I'm running LSX II's + KC62 at my desk and it's been a great experience sound wise - when setup using the KEF phone app. I did however find (in my particular room) WiFi and Bluetooth didn't work out well, so I ended up using an optical connection to my PC.
