This is also the combo I bought my wife for her office, the Kef LSX II LT from Costco and the SVS 3000 Micro. She really enjoys this setup.

LSX II LT still sell in KEF , the huge discount is from Costco. It is a good value if it is $400--500. for a desk set up I will I will choose LSX II LT , it looks nice, imo. and it takes less space. Why you want to keep the dac? both kef are active speaker, it has it own DAC.
