KEF LSX II LT + Kube 10 vs LS50 Wireless + Kube 10 — worth paying double?
Your room is only 14ft by 11ft, I don’t think going to KEF LS50 Wireless II will make much of a difference. I have KEF LSX II LT (630 CAD) + Used Polk Audio DSW PRO 550 WI (200) and it has served me well… Got LSX II LT from a Costco liquidation store. Brand new..

KEF LS50 Wireless II – Streaming audio sounds dull/flat, but FLAC files sound amazing. What’s going on?
My media box( Orbsmart R82) is connected to my TV, and the TV is connected to my KEF LS50 Wireless II via HDMI-ARC. So the audio signal goes: Media Box → TV → HDMI-ARC → KEF LS50WII. I’m starting to think this may be the problem, because the FLAC files only sounded great when they were played direct

Beosound vs Beolab
😀😀 I never test stuff I cannot buy because I will fall so much in love that I will never be able to be satisfied with mediocre. That is why I also have never driven a Porche or Ferrari. Before all this Bang & Olufsen stuff I was considering getting KEF LS50 Wireless II but I must admit than I have t

Spotify Connect has disappeared
Unfortunately no experience of Stage. When it comes to soundbars my general thought is that they are great for movies, but for dedicated music listening I always prefer two L/R speakers to get the wider soundstage and better imaging. Yes I truly prefer the sound of the Beolab 8 compared to KEF LS50

Going 5.1 with LS50 Wireless II
LS 50 Wireless II with sub -woofer is a stereo solution. The sub-woofer is not the "1" in a surround set up 5.1 although full control over redirecting the sub-woofer might get someway to using it - I never found it to be so. You can use two pairs of stereo speakers for front and rear channels using

I have installed USB Audio Player PRO alongside Tidal on my android phone.
Did you ever get to the bottom of this? I'm trying to use a UPNP renderer to cast tidal to my kef ls50 wireless ii speakers via USB audio player pro but I can't get the settings right to make it work. I had it working briefly but the buffering was so bad that I went back to Chromecast

Headphones to listen to Autechre?
Airpods Max. But i need to say, since a have a pair of Kef LS50 wireless II speakers that although headphones might be great they do not really enable you to listen to Autechre as it is meant to. For daily use outside, at the gym etc. nevertheless Airpods max recommended. But i‘d highly recommend to

I heard (almost) every KEF Meta speaker, here are my 8 key findings
I have the KEF LS50 Wireless II’s and have felt they are pretty empty sounding until I up the volume to a level that I don’t normally listen at. I don’t have a sub, however, and I feel that will change everything. Does a sub make a huge difference at lowering listening volumes? I’ve been considering

Speakers for turntable (overwhelming)
IF your budget is €250 then powered speakers might throw on Bluetooth, DACs, fibre optics, HDMI and streaming features which other powered speakers have none off. For a given performances simple powered speakers will be fewer boxes and be less expensive than an amplifier and passive speakers. Going
