what speakers are actually worth it for everyday listening?

I've been through at least 10 different "audiophile" speaker systems over the decades. The best I've heard is what I have now - KEF LS50 Wireless II. So clean, clear, distinct, even over the spectrum of audio sound. Add a subwoofer, and you'll not want anything more. And they don't cost a fortune, l

Is there any Sound System/TV Soundbar that's Google Home compatible?

Check any products with "Google Cast" (formerly known as "Chromecast built-in"). Avoid those that don't have it, i.e. Sonos, most Samsung, recent Sony Bravia soundbars, etc, even if they claim support for "Google Home". Some examples of soundbars that integrate nicely into a Google Home ecosystem by

Linking KEF Connect App to SVS 3000 Micro Sub

Ls50 wireless II + kc62 owner here Create a new profile and select expert Under sub one sub one sub + mono + kc62 This will show you the high pass roll off start (70hz) that KEF feels is realistic for the ls50wII. Since it’s an svs (and not garbage) leave it. This will allows the ls50wii to focus (a

As an audiophile, do you prefer Dolby Atmos or FLAC Hi-Res?

How do I listen to DR12 content on my KEF LS50 wireless II’s? They sound amazing using Spotify’s lossless, but I know there’s deeper levels out there.

Picks for best looking speakers

Side note- looking to upgrade from my KEF LS50 Wireless II to passive speakers, streamer + integrated amp. Need bookshelf or stand mounted speakers. Out of curiosity I listened to Wharfedale Super Dentons… warm as a cozy fall day in front of the fire, but lacking the detail of the KEFs. Then he had

Small living room: LS50 Wireless II vs LSX II w/sub

I owned the LSX II paired with a KEF sub. Sounded very good but I decided to try the LS50 Wireless IIs with the sub. Like you, I like to listen loud at times. There is simply no comparison between the LSX and the LS50’s. The LS50’s are much better is every way you can imagine. They still need a sub

LSX II → LS50 Wireless II upgrade? Better option around $1700 USD / $2400 CAD for music in a 150 sq ft room?

I went to a local audio store because i wanted to buy the Kef LSX II. I also could give the LS50 Wireless II a listen. I finally decided to go with the LS50 Wireless II. I‘d recommend buying them, they are awesome speakers.

Office Active Speakers

Since you aren't doing mixing or production, I think the ELAC would be a better and more "musical" listening experience as it's built as a bookshelf speaker rather than a studio monitor like the other two. For that money I'd go for a second-hand pair of KEF LS50 Wireless IIs, which are excellent for

What am I missing with the KEF LS50 II Wireless without a sub?

I've combined my amazing KEF LS50 Wireless IIs with SVS 3000 micro subwoofer. I never heard bass so clearly and defined before, and the integration seems completely transparent and integrated. I go back to some of my favorite music, and now really appreciate so much more.

KEF LS50 Wireless II standby possible issue

A small relay click when the amps wake up is expected, but a loud pop from the drivers definitely isn’t. The fact that it only happens when waking from standby points more towards the wakeup sequence (firmware/DSP) than a hardware fault. KEF has actually changed standby and wakeup volume behaviour i
