Sonus Faber Cremona Auditor

That is wild! We have siblings. Which KEFs were you comparing them to? I have LS50 Metas which image slightly better but the dynamic capability of the Auditor leave them in the dust in terms of clarity and realism.

Not sure I trust the You Tube audiophiles

For what it’s worth, I level matched and A/B tested LS50 metas and Lintons in my room. The Kefs had more precise imaging and slightly crisper highs. The Lintons had a significantly better low end, as you would imagine, a warmer midrange and a wider soundstage. My favorite thing about the Lintons tho

Are Kef speakers all that good? {LS60}

KEF makes very good speakers with a unique listening experience from their coaxial concentric drivers. Most find them neutral to slightly warm in presentation. KEF speakers image extremely well and are quite holographic. They've been developing concentric drivers for a long time and are on their 11t

I like to listen while I cook

Those shelves are so high up and you’ll be standing basically right underneath them. Whether you have larger speakers against the wall or smaller speakers pulled further out, it seems like you’re decided between two non-ideal options. I know you already mounted the shelves and ran the wiring, but it

looking for great speakers for listening to trance, progressive music

For pure trance listening I run KEF LS50 Meta on a decent amp - imaging is insane for those layered synths and breakdowns hit hard. If budget tight Edifier R1280DBs do surprisingly well for the price. Avoid Bluetooth speakers, wired clarity matters here.

Speakers that produce room filing sound that is enjoyable even off-axis

I'm breaking every rule: I have a couple of KEF LS50 Meta's wall mounted close to the ceiling in the corners in my kitchen (8m x 5m) and they fill the room very nicely for what I need.

KEF R11 Meta - Don't Understand the Hype

I find the KEF R series to be good, but quite overhyped on the forums, usually because of their good measurements. They resolve to a point, and then you would have to go upstream, KEF or otherwise. I had the R3 Meta in house for a little, and they just couldn't hold their own against my (then) curre

IEMs and Kobaryo

for subwoofers anything from SVS would be good enough, for speakers i currently own a pair of KEF LS50 Metas, paired with a pair of SVS PB 1000 pro. I have been fortunate enough to have listened to a Kobaryo set live and I can say although the bass does not come close to how ground shaking their ind

My little setup

I've been very impressed with my Oberon 3s. I "downgraded" from KEF LS50 Metas and a KC62 sub to just the Oberons and the reality is that the wide dispersion and generous bass response of the speakers alone are just way more enjoyable for my typical ambient, off-axis listening. On-axis midfield list

KEF LS50 Meta's or B&W 607 s3's or Dali Oberon 1's ??

I don't know what price point you're looking at for these options, and admittedly they are a bit all over the place when at MSRP so aren't easily comparable. B&W's house sound emphasizes the top end. Some find that fatiguing after an hour or two of listening. DALI is an energetic sound, a little bum
