Andrew Robinson (in his review on YouTube) reported a lackluster first impression until he tuned his LS60’s using the KEF app. If you haven’t tried that yet perhaps you still have the opportunity to be even more impressed!

I've owned the LS60s for the past ~8 months and highly recommend them. The LS60s can go lower (31hz at +-3db), while the R11 can get to 46hz. Means realistically you can use the LS60 without subs, while with the R11s you'll want to add a sub. The 8 force cancelling woofers on the LS60s are no joke!

Had my ls60’s going on two years. Love ❤️ them. Love the app. Added a couple REL (cheaper end) subs to fill out soundstage and take a little of low end off the kef’s. Still play with position and settings. I’ve got them set on two plant dollies for easy positioning and too raise the mids too ear 👂 le
