KC62 vs. LS50W2
I looked into the Kanto TUK when I was getting the YU6 and there were too many negative opinions on the high end 'brightness' essentially saying it would start to be painful... so I just got the YU6 as a stop gap whilst I found some R3's (there was no way I was going to pay anywhere near retail on R

Sound System Help - RT82
Get a pair of Kanto YU6 with a built in phono stage. No need for the Fosi. A great sounding, simple solution. Plus Kanto is a Canadian company!

Do I need a amp if I get a reciver
A receiver has an amplifier, usually an integrated amplifier and a radio (FM, DAB, may be internet radio) and outputs to passive speakers. Some have line level outputs to active speakers. The use of FM has declined with internet radio offering digital only choices and at 320kbps. DABS has many at 64

First turntable advise
Currently using Kanto Yu6 for about a year with my 1210MK2. For me and my needs it’s enough since there’s no possibility to just sit and listen to music in some private audiophile space. Personally I like how my combination sounds especially compared with my previous “dumb” setup - Sony PS-LX310 + s

Congrats on the new place and wedding—that’s a fun setup to build 👍 For what you’re trying to do (TV + streaming + some Logic use), I’d actually keep this simpler than you might think. Instead of separate amp + speakers + sub right away, I’d strongly consider going with a good pair of powered (activ

What speakers do you use in your bedroom?
Wall mounted Kanto YU6s with an SVS PB1000 in the corner. The sub was a deal I couldn’t pass up, so I made it work. A little overkill, but it definitely fills in the gaps.

Are these speakers worth it?
I have those already so asked the Ai for the difference, here's what it said: Here’s a straight comparison between the KEF LSX II LT speakers you’re looking at from Costco and the Kanto YU6 powered bookshelf speakers — to help you decide which sounds better for your needs: 🔊 Sound Quality & Performa

Here's a really easy, no fuss setup for speakers: https://www.crutchfield.com/p_310YU6MW/Kanto-YU6-Matte-White.html They are powered so no need for anything else other than the turntable and they would provide plenty of volume for a dorm setting. Wiim Ultra Bluetooth
You could sell the a5+ and get the Kanto Yu4/Yu6 as an upgrade. Built in BT, phono pre, usb + optical dac for computer and tv. Keeps your set up simple and similar to what you have.

New to Vinyl
I would advise listing to models from Pro-ject and Rega from those within your budget to well outside of your budget to see what is possible and what you can hear. Then compare other turntables to those bench marks. I like turntable with powered speakers as a neat minimal set up. Something like the
