I just paid off my mortgage, gosh , it feels good.
Yeah I use the Kanto Tuks with a record player via phone. Has losts of cleaver features, along with Bluetooth and other analogue and digital inputs. Sound stage is massive for a set of speakers this size too. AMT tweeters can be a bit jarring if you are listening to poorly mixed music or rock/metal

Is there any point in getting a subwoofer?
Your speakers have no sub-woofer output. They have built in amp. So you can't add sub or amplifier. Replace with powered speakers like Kanto Yu4, YU6 or TUK, Triangle AIO or others with a sub out or go for a small amplifier and passive speakers for more boxes and cables, separate DAC or AV Receiver
